Mariendorfstraße, Berlin :: Hotel_dinner
Summer's gone and so are the guests of Berlin. Hostesses with mostest, io+katy are leaving the city of Berlin tomorrow and we had a very lovely dinner at her place. After many jay's and four bottles of wine, we decided to play a game, which each person had to stick a piece of paper on their forehead that has a name of a well known person, given by the person on left.
After rounds of struggle, I figured out that mine were R Guiliani and Arny, aka I'll-be-back, who both turned out to be Republicans.
But why...?

Who am I?......

What's going on? (his face seems to say..)

Mauer Park, Berlin :: Leaving your mark
A friend had a good connection w/ this spray paint company, which hooked her up w/ a bunch of paint cans. So after a good hour of picking colors, kids went out to play. Wild wolves of New York climbed up to the other side of wall, and remaining wild cats stayed on the safe side, i.e. not the other side.
Anyboo, Skewville indeed left their mark.

Hackeshermarkt, Berlin :: Birthday/Going away Getogether
It was our friend Matt's b-daym which happened to be the night before his departure back to London. So we got together, had this wonderful set of Vietnamese food, and needless to say, drank. I forget the name of the bar, but I think that the alley way's tres cool. Every single inch of the wall space entirely covered by a paste, painting or a tag and such.. Oh, and they also had this contraption of a metal frog that had bat wings..that almost succeeds in flying, but not quite.

Wedding, Berlin :: Rainy 3am
I am currently listening to Stan Getz, which I can't get enough of, and the rain as well. It's been raining since 11pm. It's one of those really nice constant, let me soothe you type rain. Yumm. I don't think I can fall asleep tonight :) (:
Warshauerstraße, Berlin :: Down there...
After Georg's show, we decided to go out, which of course resulted in an hour long (or plus) group ambiguity of 'what to do?'. So George, Laura, Meg and I went over to the S-bahn station where they have a stair case that leads down to the tracks.
We sat around and enjoyed the peaceful rain, smoked, and went home.

Auguststraße 50, Berlin :: Georg, impromptu exhibition
Georg W. had a sudden blow of having a solo show, in a slum between two galleries. It was a bit difficult to find the spot since it was located in this gated "in between" space, but the principle of art for art sake mentality in showing his work is quite, ehm....cool. gutsy? Dunno. I enjoyed it quite thoroughly and his paintings are great.
Later on, we got told off by this German lady who lived on the 5th floor in a building next to the lot, since we were too loud.

Willkommen

Auf Wiedersehen!
