Namsan, Seoul :: N Tower

I was up on this mountain in the middle of Seoul called, Namsan, meaning a mountain in the north, via a cable car. We were all packed up like sardines, but got to see quite a fantastic panoramic view of the city.

Namdaemoon, Seoul :: Oh lordy...

'Tis the season for greetings and honesty... So they say. It is Christmas eve and stores are still running hard to make that final sprint. It seems like this year's Christmas has been rather quieter than the ones before, and hopefully ones to come.

I hope everyone's spending a quality time with their own version of loved ones, thinking about good things...like hope or love.
Anyboo-boo,Merry Christmas people!!

Insadong, Seoul :: Pretty lantern

Pretty indeed.

Insadong, Seoul :: Topo Haus II

Same artist's work.. I really like the different shades of blue.

Attached below is the artist's blog. I put it thru bable fish, so the translated page should show. If translation doesn't work, then just click on the images on his website to see his work.

Insadong, Seoul :: Topo Haus

We trolled into another ceramic art gallery by an artist, Seyong Lee. In his statement, he spoke about how things are changing at this moment and how people are in the very middle of this condition; feminity in men and the opposite in women, analog vs digital, money and economic crisis...etc. And he's trying to sort of show that thru color and material he uses. And I find him quite comical as well.

Insadong, Seoul :: Gallery Nanoom

Nanoom means 'to share', and it was a nice lil' ceramic art gallery. I initially went into the place since they had a sign that read 'No children under 13 allowed' and of course, I went in. Hah-! But what rewarded my dirty mind was a collection of traditional ceramic art. An artist was having his solo, so I immediately took out my camera, but got some shit from the lady watch-dog.
So this is all I can offer from this place.

Insadong, Seoul :: Out during the day

I finally went out during the day today. My mom and I walked around this area called
Insadong, which is famous for having loads of traditional Korean art shops and selling kitschy objects. We hit up some galleries and shops, and ended up walking around for 6 hours. It did me good. Oh joy.

More pics to follow...

Jungreung, Seoul :: A morning hike

I went on a hike along the path behind my house. On the top of the mountain, a place called "Palgak-Jung", which means an octagonal temple. It was a bit foggy morning but it was nice to be so high up in the air.

Hyehwa-ro, Seoul :: First snow!

After blowing off an interview for a job and falling asleep, I felt pretty raunchy, so decided to post one to feel better. I've been doing a lot of work on my portfolio (this time for real), prolonging my everlasting jetlag. I fell asleep at 3pm again for the 5th day in a row!

Anypoo- enjoy the view from my balcony of the snow and Seoul. Kinda blurry but it's niiiice.
